The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy is a remake of the classic British television miniseries and stars Zooey Deschanel, Mos Def, and Sam Rockwell. The film's plot like the miniseries is about an Earth-man who gets a trip across the galaxy after the Earth is destroyed. The film is meant to be a comedy and a science-fiction film but it only comes across as a sci-fi film and the comedy aspect doesn't exactly go along well. The plot goes along well but certain points seem to jump ahead and I know it was part of the traveling system of the ship but it just seemed entirely rushed. The rest of the plot and such work well though. Being that my system can't give a 42 I have to give the film 3/5 stars.
