Coraline is a very interesting and amusing animated film from 2009. It takes a look at the classic kid who wants to runaway from home story and makes it into a darker film involving the kidnapping of these children. The film was originally shot in 3D, the first animated film to do so, I however did not watch the film this way. The fictional button world is very amazing in its beauty and the way in which only one character seems to be on Coraline's side besides the cat from her world. If I had to choose a moral that the film seems to give off for kids it seems that the film wants them to know that they should be happy with the life they are in. I give the film 4/5 stars for its creativity.
