The Untouchables is a semi-historical film about the take down of Al Capone. It stars Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, and Robert DeNiro. The film takes a very interesting look at the autobiography of Elliot Ness. There was some predictability in the film but I did not hurt the film entirely. The movie did seem to make some great allusions to prior films that I had never noticed even when I had seen the film being alluded to. The film I am talking about is an early Russian film called Battleship Potemkin. There was not really a central meaning to the film but the fact that the acting in the film was superb by all three of the major actors. I give the film 4/5 stars.
A place for Chuckles to complain about random things and share his film conquests. There is also a list of movies to see that is being added to by various professor's at Canisius College.
