#532 - Toy Story 3

The latest and last Toy Story film is an incredible work that is able to perfectly end the series. To not spoil anything here is what happens, Andy grew up and is off to college and Woody and friends have been donated to a daycare run by an evil teddy bear. Besides the original members of the cast from the first two films they are joined by an all star cast. They have Ned Beatty as Lotso, the evil teddy bear, Michael Keaton as Ken, Timothy Dalton as a new toy Mr. Pricklepants, Whoopi Goldberg as an octopus, and Jeff Garlin as a unicorn. Even with all of these additions the film still works to keep us all amused and give a satisfying end to a series that has been a major part of all of our lives for the past 13 years. I wouldn't say that the movie is flawless, but it is only missing on a couple small points. A point near the end, that I cannot mention in this post, it almost made me deeply sad to the point that had almost cried during the film. I just hope that Pixar realizes this was the best way to end it and doesn't have a sequel up its sleeves. I give the film 4.5/5 stars.
