The Mask is an action comedy about a man played by Jim Carrey who find Loki's mask and through the mask begins to cause a large amount of mischief, but becomes a hero. Besdies Jim Carrey in the lead role he is joined by Cameron Diaz and Ben Stein in this hysterical film. The film is not fully amazing but it has a large amount of good qualities that save it from being horrible. The one thing that bothered me that brought the film down was after only a couple days all of the sudden Jim Carrey seems to know everything about the mask to the point where he is able to fully explain it to Diaz and the villain. Other then that this is one of the few Jim Carrey comedies that I actually fully enjoyed. You may be wondering why and the reason is that he is actually meant to be funny in this one. I give the film 4/5 stars.
