Training Day is a film from 2000 starring Denzel Washington about a cop on his first day on a new squad. The film is not bad but it is not one of the best films I have ever seen. It is interesting that the film takes place over the course of 24 hours and the fact that Washington is able to do so much investigative work in tat short of an amount of time is epic. He was able to find and 'arrest' a suspect all before dinner. That would probably never happen in reality. Washington as usual is incredible in his role of the head of this corrupt unit. Overall the film could have been better. Maybe include a longer time frame so that all of this is not jammed into a 24 hour day. I don't know but it is just a suggestion. I give the film 3.5/5 stars.

#527 - Training Day
