Katyn is a Polish film that takes place during World War II. It was recommended to me by one of the professors I had interviewed suggested this film for its cinematic values. The movies plot specifically focuses on the treatment of the Polish by both the Soviets and the Nazis during that period. The movie is incredible and even leaves you hanging over the culprits of the Katyn massacre, even though it seems like it was the Germans. he acting by all of the ensemble cast is incredible and they should have won an ensembles award for the overall great performance by each of the individual actors. Not only the acting and plot but the cinematography of the scenes makes the film into a masterpiece. I give the film 4.5/5 stars.
