#521 - Going My Way
Going My Way is an Oscar winning film from the 1944 starring Bing Crosby. The film centers around Crosby as a priest who comes to a parish that is in need of a serious overhaul and Crosby is the one who is the only one who can help. The film is pretty good. Crosby is awesome as the 'singing priest' and the actor who plays Fr. Fitzgibbon is also incredible in that role. The music is pretty good especially with it being Crosby singing the pieces. The story is set up in a nice and easy package but near the end of the film is drawn out a bit after the selling of Fr. Chuck's piece to the point that I kept wondering if it was almost over. Other then that one complaint the film is overall good. I give the film 3.5/5 stars.
