#518 - Life Stinks
Life Stinks is a film by Mel Brooks that does not really spoof any specific genre or films. The film centers around a high powered business man (Brooks) who takes on a bet to live for a month as a homeless man. The has a real heart to it and Brooks for once does not play a jester. His character really only seems to be funny when certain events occur to him not from all of the things he says. The one thing that noticed was that Brooks also show a large amount of emotion throughout the film, including sadness. The film's story works but as usual the bad guy plan does not exactly make sense. Also why did the lawyers automatically turn on Brooks. Otherwise the film seems good and I give the film 3.5/5 stars.
