Face/Off is a pure action film starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. The film revolves around an FBI agent (Travolta) who swaps faces with a criminal in order to find a bomb. The movie may be directed by John Woo but from all of the explosions throughout the film it seems Michael Bay directed this film. The acting is OK and it seems like Cage and Travolta did a good job of playing each others characters but evn if this was a drama this film seemed to be lacking a heart in the acting department. The plot was good and was very interesting with the science used to swap the two mens faces. There was one loophole that I saw though. Travolta as troy tells Cage as Archer that he had killed the science team that had swapped the faces. At the end though we all of the sudden see the science team. WTF. Keep the plot together. I give the film 3.5/5 stars.
