Beyond the Sea is a story about the life of Bobby Darin. It is told in a very unique and interesting way. The beginning of the film makes the film seem to be Bobby Darin's film about his life but ti is told so amazingly that you soon forget that there was that specific look at the film. The acting by Kevin Spacey is amazing and Kate Bosworth's performance was good but could have been improved upon. The film has a nice and easy pace to it and it never seems to rush on anything. The music is incredible and I like that they synced up parts of the songs to the movements by some of the actors, specifically in the title track. I give the film 4/5 stars.
