Captain America was made into a film in the 1990s and it is horrible. The film is as the title implies about Captain America's origin and his battle with the Red Skull. The film has countless plot holes and mixes up the various origin stories. For starters they make the Red Skull a little Italian boy before his transformation. Suddenly he becomes German. HOW DOES THAT WORK? Secondly within twenty minutes Captain America has become who he is and frozen. I understand they wanted to set it in today's world but come on you need more time to develop your hero and villain. Thirdly, Steve Roger's disability before his transformation is a limp from polio. WOW! When you have the Red Skull as a blind kid a limp just isn't as comparable. I hope their new rendition of the story is better. I give the film 2/5 stars.
