The Sum of All Fears is another film that deals with the American version of James Bond, Jack Ryan. In this version Ryan is played by Ben Affleck and he has Morgan Freeman with him along the way. The plot seems kind of forced because this is technically a prequel to all of the other films and you lose some of the plot from those films and it just doesn't feel right. The acting is incredible and the action sequences really work. There are just some things in the film that don't seem to sit well with me and should possibly have been changed. My favorite scene has to be near the end when the bad guy gets in his car and the way in which the car explodes in incredibly unique and I had never seen done before. I give the film 4/5 stars just because Morgan Freeman deserves that number.
