Edward Scissorhands is a Tim Burton film and stars one of the Tim Burton family's favorite actor, Johnny Depp. The movie is about a man who was created in a lab and his creator died just before putting hands on him. He is then introduced into normal society by an Avon lady who finds him in the man's castle. The film takes a odd look atthe way most society automatically turns on those who are different then everyone else. At first Edward is a fascinating creature to this suburb but as soon as he wastes his usefulness to certain members they turn immediately against him. The acting by the central family that takes Edward in and by Depp as this man who has been stuck in this castle alone for years and his introduction to various items. Overall this movie had a true and deep heart that you don't see much of anymore in cinema. I give the film 4/5 stars.
