Slap Shot is a hockey comedy starring Paul Newman and many other lesser known stars. The film is hysterical! The scenes in which they are actually playing hockey is had me in pain. Paul Newman is great in his role of the coach of the Chiefs and each of the individual players are amazing in their own way. The Henson brothers are incredible and I love the fact that the other characters think they are retarded until they actually get on the ice until they start pounding everything that moved. I thouroghly loved this film and every part of it and I am not at all a hockey or sports fan in any sense of the word. I give the film 4.5/5 stars for Paul Newman's absolute awesomeness..
