#494 - Away We Go

Away We Go is an indie film from 2009 that stars Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski as a couple who are expecting a baby. The film looks specifically their look for a way to parent their kid. They go out and seek advice friends and family and learn mostly what they should not do. The film is good but it wasn't exactly amazing. Most other reviewers seem to consider this one of the best from 2009 but I have to disagree with them. Krasinski's character is very interesting and seems to be slightly neurotic and is quite is the opposite of his character Jim from The Office and seems more like Dwight. It was also nice that Rudolph was able to use the skills she acquired on Saturday Night Live in the movie during the story they were telling to the niece. I give the film 3/5 stars.
