So Friday the 13th is one of the three classic slasher films that introduces us to the Voorhes family at Camp Crystal Lake. The film is not amazing and it would have been much better if the group of characters were not killed off so quickly in the first hour and that we were left with only two characters for the last half hour. It would have been better if they had it more into a chase instead of BAM Sharon's dead, BAM Bill's dead, etc. within 30 minutes. The characters themselves did not seem to be that great either. we barely learn about them and it is hard to actually care if they end up living or dying at the end of the film. The only ways this film could be good is if there was a psychological aspect and we learned about each character. So overall this film could use some serious improvement. I give the film 2.5/5 stars.
