#491 - Witness
Witness is a film that has a script that is suppose to be one of the greatest scripts ever written. It stars Harrison Ford as a Philadelphia cop who has to protect this young Amish boy who has witnessed the killing of a cop. The film seems to act more as an eductional film to me then that of a drama or action film. Why you may ask? It is because of the fact that for at least 2/3rds of the movie is set at the home of the Amish boy and his family. The film works though. Ford is awesome as usual as the Philadelphia detective who has been charged to protect this young boy and the love story of the film seems a little farfetched and should have gone somewhere and not ended near the end of the film. I give the film 3.5/5 stars.
