The new Robin Hood stars Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett and takes a different look at the famous archer. Instead of the regular Robin Hood fights the Sheriff of Nottingham instead they decided to make the French into deceiving bastards who have their eye on power, Crowe works as Robin Hood but I dislike the fact that they don't make him start off as Robin of Locksley but they have to go through other means to get him to be that. I personally would have preferred to see the typical Robin Hood storyline and not this one but the writers have a right to do what ever they want. The the one thing they should have done was to tell the back story through other ways besides the title cards. I give the film 2.5/5 stars because of my disapproval of the plot.
