The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, named after the central characters does a good job of telling the origin of our favorite amphibious ninjas and their rat sensei. The film does a good job of introducing each of the characters in and it tells us a little bit about them as we go along in the film. The way in which the film goes about the story is very interesting. It does not seem to work into a very good and easy transition into the central conflict and the final battle between the Shredder and the Turtles seems to move along much too quickly. The way in which the origin story was told was interesting and it was nice that it was used in multiple flashbacks instead of just told the imagery of it makes it better. I give the film 3/5 cowabungas!
